2026-2027 Season
Relationships Take Center Stage
From sparkling comedy and irresistible romance, to heartfelt American storytelling, FCO's 27th season celebrates the moments that connect us. Through humor, conflict, love, and hope, each production explores the relationships that challenge us, change us, and ultimately bring us together.
Something's Brewing
Our season opens with Something's Brewing, a delightful double bill pairing J.S. Bach's Coffee Cantata and Gaetano Donizetti's Rita. Overflowing with wit and larger-than-life personalities, these two comic gems promise an entertaining evening of laughter and outstanding music.
Choose our dinner opera experience on September 10,with an optional VIP pre-show reception, or join us for a September 12 matinee at Celebration Hall at St. Anastasia.
The Elixir of Love
We continue with our annual New Year's Eve
opera which has become a cherished tradition for our audience. This year we toast to Donizetti's The Elixir of Love on December 31 for our festive champagne performance, followed by a Saturday matinee on January 2.
Follow the lovable Nemorino as he attempts to win Adina's heart with the help of a questionable "magic" potion. Overflowing with romance, humor, and some of opera's most beloved music, it's the perfect way to welcome the year ahead.
The Tender Land
We conclude our season with Aaron Copland's The Tender Land on February 27 and 28 in a site-specific production at Ancient City Farmstead. Rather than a traditional theatre setting, the farm's picturesque landscape becomes part of the storytelling, echoing the opera's rural setting.
Featuring Copland's soaring score and a heartfelt story of family, dreams, and new beginnings, this unique collaboration offers a rare opportunity to experience opera in a fresh and unforgettable way.
Opening the Doors to the Next Generation
One of the most exciting changes this season isn't on stage, it's in our commitment to making opera more accessible.
We've introduced FREE tickets for anyone under 18, and $30 tickets for adults under 30, making it easier for the next generation of opera lovers to experience the excitement of this enduring art form.
These reduced-price tickets can only be made possible through the generosity of donors who believe that great music should be shared with all. Your support helps ensure these opportunities continue for years to come.
