Now in his twelfth year leading First Coast Opera as General and Artistic Director, Curtis Tucker continues to shape the stage as a conductor, composer, and performer. This season, he took the podium for Carmen and starred as Ko-Ko in The Mikado. A native of Kansas City, Curtis led Sorg Opera in Ohio and Opera Saratoga in New York before relocating to Florida. As a composer, his three one-act operas — The Stranger's Tale, The Trial of B.B. Wolf, and Penelope Ann's Revenge — have been performed at Romanza Festivale and nationwide, supported by grants from the NEA and four state arts councils.

Haley is a soprano from Jacksonville, Florida. She has a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Samford University and is pursuing her M.M. in Vocal Performance from University of North Florida in the fall. Haley has performed locally with the Matanzas Vocal Artists at Romanza Festivale since 2022, and made her First Coast Opera debut this season in Carmen. She serves as soprano section leader at Trinity Parish in St. Augustine, and also directs the children’s choir. Her most memorable roles have been Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Valerie in The Cabildo, and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi.

Described as "fierce" and "baritonal" Edward is an American tenor establishing himself in the world of opera as one of the next generation's fully dramatic singers. With a wide span of repertoire, he has had the honor of performing with many companies and orchestras around the country with recent debuts as Canio, Turiddu, and Lohengrin. Originally from New Lenox, Illinois, Edward is a proud alum of the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices and The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Beyond the stage he serves as the Director of Development for First Coast Opera, and Director of Development & Operations for Charleston Opera Theater.

A sought after collaborative pianist and organist of unique versatility, Michael graduated from North Park University in Chicago, IL with a degree in piano, and went on to pursue a Masters degree in organ at Concordia University Chicago. He has held positions with Charleston Southern University, North Central College, Tim Zimmerman & The King’s Brass, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Gospel & Spiritual ensembles, and the acclaimed St. Charles Singers, among others. Primarily a church musician, Michael is currently the Director of Music & Organist at Trinity Parish in St. Augustine, FL.
