MEET THE PERFORMERS

Chris Kastle

Chris Kastle is an award winning storyteller, poet, musician as well as an acclaimed songsmith and author with a number of recordings and publications to her credit in addition to a well-viewed YouTube channel.  She offers insight into a lifetime of adventure and travel. Her original works possess great imagery and have the occasional flavor of Celtic and Maritime traditions.

Tim McGowan

​​Timothy McGowan is a lyric tenor who has recently moved to St. Augustine. Since his 2018 professional debut, he has performed with major organizations including the San Diego Symphony, Utah Festival Opera, and The Ohio Light Opera, amassing a  repertoire of operatic, musical theatre, and concert works. Beyond his stage career, Timothy is a committed pedagogue who has served on the voice faculties of several institutions and is currently an Assistant Professor at the Florida School of the Arts.

Dirk Gavin McCoy

Dirk McCoy has frequently performed with FCO in various roles, including Fiorello in The Barber of Seville and Marcello in Pasta & Puccini/La Bohème. He last seen on our stage as The Second Man in The Magic Flute.

Dirk recently performed the role of David in A Hand of Bridge for Bold City Opera and sang the title role of Gianni Schicchi with Mid-Ohio Civic Opera. His past credits include performances with New York City Opera and Washington National Opera.

Lisa Lockhart

Lisa Lockhart has graced stages throughout the United States and Europe, portraying iconic roles such as Aida, Madama Butterfly, and the Queen of the Night. She has performed with the New York City Opera, Washington National Opera, and at the White House.  An accomplished educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from The Boston Conservatory and a Master’s in Music Education from Columbia University Teachers College, Lisa is currently an adjunct professor at Florida State College at Jacksonville.​​
